NOTRE DAME, Ind. – (AP) – William Collazo held Notre Dame to two runs and seven hits over the final six innings to lead Florida International in the South Bend regional championship game.
Collazo (13-0) struck out Andrew Bushey to end the game with the tying run on third.
The Golden Panthers took the lead for good in the bottom of the third by scoring four runs off starter J.P. Gagne (5-5).
Notre Dame forced the deciding game with a 5-2 victory earlier Monday.
Sophomore Peter Ogilvie (5-1) went the distance for Notre Dame, scattering nine hits and striking out five.
